Bellevue, WA, May 2010 Concord Ventures is pleased to announce the sale of machining company Allied Technical Services to a member of its management team.

Concord Ventures represented the seller and negotiated financing for the sale.

Located in Seattle, Allied Technical Service provides metal fabrication and machine part finishing services for the food, aircraft, electronic, and wood product industries in the northwest region. Capabilities include mechanical repair, machine welding, prototype development, and the manufacturing of intricate small parts. The company offers chrome plating, and nickel, zinc, cadmium, Teflon, electrostatic, and conventional coating processes.

Further capabilities include plasma spray build-up, hard surfacing, and ceramic over-coating. A complete in-house welding department is fully equipped to weld aluminum, stainless, cast iron, stellite, titanium and other exotic materials as well as silver brazing and soldering.

The company was founded in 1956 and purchased by the seller with a partner in 1985. The company was first located on Boeing Field in Seattle and provided Boeing Aircraft with tooling, sheet metal work, welding, polishing, and plating services. It gradually expanded and diversified.
